The Missouri Audio Project is the brainchild of Julija Šukys and Andrew Leland. We are based at the University of Missouri, Columbia. Our partners and supporters include:  Mizzou Advantage, the Murray Center for Documentary Studies, the Missouri School of Journalism, KBIA, and the Department of English and the Digital Storytelling Program at the University of Missouri.

In the summer of 2015, we launched this thing with a six-day summer radio intensive workshop, taught by Rob Rosenthal, currently the lead instructor of the Transom Story Workshop. Rob produces the HowSound podcast on audio storytelling for PRX (Public Radio Exchange).
